East Jackson Golf The East Jackson girls golf team has completed a successful 2013 season. The girls finished third in the Cascades Conference, and fifth at the Division 4 Region 19 Tournament. Senior Ashley Beaden and junior Hayley Cooper earned all-conference honors and finished among the top 4 players in the league. Junior Savannah Swiatlowski earned honorable mention status. Ashley and Hayley were among the top players at the Division 4 Region 19 Tournament, as each qualified for the State Meet, respectively shooting scores of 88 and 91. At the two-day Division 4 State Meet, Ashley shot 91-87, tying the school's 18-hole record on Saturday, despite the rain and cold. Hayley shot 117-109 and is excited about working towards a return trip next year. The EJ boys begin practice March 10, 2014. Last year's team finished 3rd in the league, and senior Nathan Siegrist advanced through District play to the Regional tournament. Check out the links below for more information about each team.
